Parking
We have so many parking options, here are a few:
Our nearest Car Park (less than 100m walk) is Carlisle Parade Car Park (TN34 1JG) where you will always find a space. Turn right as you drive in and park in the dark blue section (next to the orange section). Walk up the ramp from the exit in the blue section and the church is just on your right: £2.50 for 2 hours.
Holmesdale Gardens is a 3 minute walk from the church, and has free parking all day on a Sunday.
There is another car park along Priory Street (TN34 1EA) which is just a 3 minute walk away. Make sure to approach the church by coming down the steps from Cambridge Road that leads into Claremont. If it’s raining you can walk through the carpark and ESK and come out opposite the steps by the church! £2.50 for 2 hours.
Priory Meadow Shopping Centre Car park (TN34 1PH) is only 5 minute walk away, and has over 1000 spaces. £2.50 for 2 hours.

Accessibility
Churches are meant to be for everyone and anyone, but we recognise that they can at times be quite inaccessible and overwhelming spaces for some people. Accessibility is really important to us, so we’re doing our best to make sure HTH is a church that anyone can call home. If you’re planning to visit and have specific needs please do get in touch to let us know how we can help accommodate you.
Step-free entrance
For step-free access to our Sunday services don’t attempt the entrance on Robertson Street but use the entrance on the opposite side of the building on Claremont.
Assistance Dogs
Guide dogs, hearing dogs and assistance dogs are welcome in the church at all times. There are lots of nice places around HTH to walk your furry friends but unless they’re assistance dogs they sadly wont be allowed into the church building itself.
Sound levels
We are a busy and vibrant church who tend to make a fair bit of noise when we’re all together. For those that prefer things a little quieter, we have some ear defenders available for children that might need them, or you might like to bring some ear plugs if the noise is too much for you.
Sensory zone (10:00 service only)
For children at our 10:00 families service that need a calmer space we have a sensory zone located in the Lady Chapel in the South Aisle.
Hearing loop
We are working towards installing a hearing loop to be available at some point in the future - watch this space.
Help us do better
We always want to ensure that everyone feels welcome and able to access our services, but we know we won’t always succeed and can always improve. Please don’t hesitate to get in touch to let us know how we can better accommodate you and help you to access our services.
